Nigeria is the largest economy in Africa, yet has not been able to generate a power supply sufficient for its over 200 million population. This has impacted negatively on the socio-economic development of the country and rendered many growing minds helpless at night to read their books. We have created Eco-friendly Reading Lamp to help growing minds in low-income communities to read in the darkness depth of the night. It is to encourage intellectual exploration and academic success, conserves energy, reduces greenhouse gas emissions and promotes healthy environment.
