- Essential Question
- How can integrated AI and IoT technologies empower rural farmers to monitor and mitigate soil and water contamination in real-time?
- Project Description
- PolluScan addresses the crisis of soil and water contamination in India's agricultural landscape, which leads to diseased crops and threatened farmer livelihoods. Traditional farming faces challenges from chemical overuse and poor resource monitoring. Our solution is a comprehensive monitoring system utilizing solar-powered IoT sensors and AI for real-time data analysis and predictive modeling of environmental health. We have taken action by engaging directly with agricultural communities through collaborative development and hands-on workshops, where farmers test prototypes and learn sustainable techniques. By providing actionable insights, PolluScan helps reduce chemical overuse, improves crop yields, and ensures cleaner water sources. This project creates a "Flourishing Village" model that balances productivity with environmental preservation, aiming for a "Sustainable India" by 2047
