Mangrove Fantasy began when I realized many students didn’t know what mangroves are or why they matter. In class discussions, more than half couldn’t explain their role in protecting coastlines and marine life. I also noticed that environmental lessons often felt hard or uninteresting. Since I love drawing and storytelling, I decided to create a fantasy storybook about mangrove forests.
Through characters and adventure, readers can learn about ecosystems in a way that feels emotional and fun.The story helps students understand why mangroves are important and how they can care about protecting nature. I launched the book at an Eco Fair and public event, reaching over 100 students and families.
