AI Powered Inclusive STEAM Education
Essential Question
How can AI-powered game systems close STEM learning gaps in low-resource school?
Project Description

Many students in underserved communities struggle with STEM subjects due to limited resources, overcrowded classrooms, and teaching methods that do not support diverse learning needs. This project addresses educational inequality by using AI-powered STEAM games integrated with Arduino technology to assess learning gaps and improve understanding through play-based learning.

‎Students designed interactive physical and digital games that combine electronics, coding, mathematics, science, and creative problem-solving. Using Arduino sensors and simple AI logic, the games track learner responses, identify weaknesses in specific STEM concepts, and adapt questions or challenges in real time. This allows learners to engage at their own pace while receiving immediate feedback.

‎The project emphasizes learning through play, making complex STEM concepts more accessible and enjoyable. As a result, learners showed improved confidence, participation, and understanding of difficult topics such as basic coding logic, measurements, electricity, and data interpretation. Beyond academic gains, the project builds critical thinking, teamwork, and digital literacy skills.

‎By combining affordable technology with culturally relevant, hands-on learning, this project demonstrates how AI can support equitable STEM education in low-resource settings.
