- Project Description
-
Cyclonova is a biodigester sealed, airtight container used to break down organic waste (such as animal dung, food waste, and plant materials) in the absence of oxygen to produce biogas and organic fertilizer. We explored the use of waste plastic material to construct our mini tank fitted with pipes, valves, controls and tube. Some challenges encountered during the making of this project includes; 1. Ensuring airtight around the control valves to prevent gas from leaking out. 2. During the making of Cyclonova, we had challenges of getting fresh animal dung. This was discovered when we did not get result using treated animal dung. 3. Other challenges were cutting pipes and tubes into sizes.
