Essential Question
How can we transform the SDGs into measurable local action from our school?
Project Description

SDG Mission is a student initiative that transforms the Sustainable Development Goals into concrete and measurable actions within schools. It was created after identifying a worrying gap: although 96% of students recognize the concept of sustainability, only 5% have a thorough understanding of the SDGs. The project responds to the challenge of turning theoretical knowledge into a real and verifiable impact on the educational community.

To achieve this, we developed a gamified digital platform where classrooms participate in challenges aligned with SDGs 3 (Good Health and Well-being), 4 (Quality Education), and 13 (Climate Action). Each challenge includes practical actions, digital evidence recording, teacher validation, and monitoring through quantifiable indicators that allow results to be measured clearly and transparently.

In the pilot phase, we plan to involve 250 students, document 120 hours of volunteer work, and reduce plastic use in participating classrooms by 35%. The SDG Mission integrates technology, youth leadership, and impact measurement, demonstrating that when students lead sustainable solutions, learning becomes true transformation.
