How can we provide sustainable, low-cost air purification to off-grid communities using renewable energy and integrated smart IoT technology ?
Project Description

Our project addresses the critical challenge of deteriorating air quality through an innovative IoT Solar-Powered Air Diffuser and PurifierWe developed a system that combines sustainable energy with advanced filtration and smart connectivity to deliver superior air qualityTo address these challenges, we implemented a dual-layer hardware architecture: the primary layer uses carbon rods for air purification, while the secondary layer features replaceable cotton filters to trap fine particulatesAirflow is driven by dual high-RPM fans engineered for maximum displacementFor smart management, we integrated an ESP8266 Wi-Fi module connected to the Blynk IoT platform for real-time remote monitoring of performance and filter healthWe also included a dedicated speaker module that provides audible Filter Replacement alerts to ensure proactive maintenanceBy utilizing a fully sustainable solar-powered circuit for off-grid operation and low-cost materials, our project provides an accessible, scalable approach to environmental health and climate resilienceThis solution represents the next generation of sustainable technology by integrating smart connectivity with automated maintenance alerts.
