The Wildfire Alarm System was developed to detect an incoming wildfire and alert the users in time for them to execute an escape plan and save lives. It is composed of the folowing:
- Sensor module will detect an incoming wildfire checking for air quality
- Command Center will receive the alarm and validate the information checking the NASA satellite fire detection service
- Once validated the command Center will inform the end user through cellphone or Internet services
- If the cellphone or Internet services are not available it will use the Meshtastic private network
