Recycle the Runway aims to make sustainable fashion accessible specifically to teens, but also to everyone! We take in donations and transform them into wearable pieces for sale. Sometimes pieces are in such great condition and style that not many changes will be made! Other times, it’s about seeing the creativity and potential within a piece. For example, I sewed a summer tank top and shorts set out of a linen pillowcase. By creating unique, one-of-a-kind pieces from donated clothing, we are able to advance our goals of slow fashion while also allowing room for our own creative expression.
