We live in a world where birth deficiencies and disabilities are not uncommon, and one of the most challenging conditions is blindness and deafblindness. Globally, around 43.3 million people are blind, and an estimated 160 million individuals are affected by deafblindness.
This is where our project, Bridging Words, steps in. Our goal is to create a Braille-based learning system that goes beyond audio solutions or limiting people to standard tactile books. By integrating modern technology, we aim to make reading and learning more accessible and interactive for individuals who are blind or deafblind.
